RTT

Rapid Transformational Therapy

What is RTT?

Rapid Transformational Therapy, commonly known as RTT, is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of hypnotherapy, guided relaxation, cognitive techniques, and therapeutic conversation.

The aim is to help you explore the beliefs, emotions, and past experiences that may be influencing how you think, feel, and behave today.

Many people know logically that they want to change, but they continue repeating the same patterns. RTT focuses on understanding the deeper beliefs connected to those patterns and helping you create more supportive ways of thinking.

What can RTT help you explore?

RTT may be used to support clients experiencing:

RTT does not diagnose or treat medical or psychiatric conditions. It should not replace medical care, psychotherapy, counselling, or mental health treatment where these are required.

What happens during an RTT session?

We begin by discussing what you want support with, how the issue affects your life, and what you would like to feel or do differently.

This helps us establish a clear focus for the session.

Initial conversation

02

Guided relaxation

You will be guided into a deeply relaxed and focused state.

You remain aware and in control throughout the session. Hypnosis is not sleep, and you cannot be forced to say or do anything against your wishes.

During the session, we may explore memories, beliefs, emotions, or experiences that appear connected to the current issue.

The purpose is not to blame the past. It is to understand how an old belief may still be influencing your present choices.

04

Reframing

We work together to challenge and reframe beliefs that no longer support you.

For example:

  • “I am not good enough” may be reframed into a healthier belief about worth and capability.
  • “I must keep everyone happy” may be replaced with a belief that supports boundaries and self-respect.

Where appropriate, you may receive a personalised transformational audio recording to listen to after the session.

This is designed to reinforce the healthier beliefs and messages explored during your session.

Integration

The work does not end when the session finishes.

You may be encouraged to:

How long is a session?

An RTT session usually lasts approximately [90–120 minutes].

Your first appointment may include additional time for discussion and preparation.

Will I lose control?

No

You remain aware during the session and can speak, move, or stop at any time. You are not unconscious, and you cannot be made to reveal anything you do not wish to discuss.

How many sessions will I need?

Some clients choose RTT for one focused issue, while others benefit from follow-up work.

No ethical practitioner should guarantee that one session will permanently resolve every problem. The number of sessions required depends on the issue, the individual, and the level of continued support needed.

Is RTT right for everyone?

RTT may not be appropriate for everyone.

Before booking, you will be asked to complete a confidential consultation form. In some circumstances, you may be advised to seek support from a GP, psychologist, counsellor, psychotherapist, or another qualified healthcare professional.

Important notice

RTT and coaching are complementary services. They are not emergency services and are not substitutes for medical diagnosis, psychiatric care, counselling, or psychotherapy.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or believe you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis support service immediately.
